The Programme
The 1% MEAN programme operates across either two or four semesters. It is encouraged due to the stress of Year 11 and 12 that the program operates for four semesters. These are difficult years with the pressures of study, school, casual work, pressure to consume alcohol, experiment with drugs, negative body image and pressure to experiement with relationships and sex. Armed with this knowledge students will have a better understanding of these key negative traits as they move into post school life, into further learning or into the workforce. They will be better able to function as adults.
